Optical Coherence Imaging

Optical Coherence Imaging

At Collins Vision Care, we utilize the Topcon Maestro. It is a state-of-the-art optical coherence tomography (OCT) system that uses light waves to create detailed images of the retina and optic nerve. It is used to diagnose and monitor a wide range of eye diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

The Maestro provides high-resolution images that can be used to measure the thickness of the retina, optic nerve, and other structures. This information can be used to track the progression of disease and to plan treatment.

Here are some of the benefits of using the Topcon Maestro:

  • High-resolution images: The Maestro provides high-resolution images of the retina and optic nerve, which allows us to diagnose and monitor eye diseases more accurately.

  • Automated system: The Maestro is a fully automated system, which means that it can take images without any input from the patient. This makes it ideal for patients who have difficulty cooperating with traditional eye exams.

  • Wide range of applications: The Maestro can be used to diagnose and monitor a wide range of eye diseases, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

  • Compact and easy to use: The Maestro is a compact and easy-to-use system that can be used in any practice setting.

If you are experiencing any vision problems, please schedule an appointment with Collins Vision Care to discuss whether the Topcon Maestro may be right for you.
